Capri Isles is built around canal water, and a lanai that backs onto a canal lives in a different climate than one that backs onto a lawn. The water keeps the air damp through the night, so frames dry slowly and screw heads stay wet longer. No-see-ums breed in the mangrove and marsh edges near the bays, and the canals bring that habitat close to the house.
Venice Lanai Screens connects homeowners in Capri Isles with a local screen contractor who knows the water side of a cage from the street side. Standard 18/14 mesh lets a no-see-um through; 20/20 mesh does not, and a pool cage rescreening is the point to make that change across the enclosure. Rust streaks at the connections on the canal-facing wall say the plated fasteners have been in damp air the longest; stainless fastener replacement renews them with 316 stainless. A single panel gone loose at the spline is a screen panel repair matter, and the in-person visit sets the scope.

The makeover: chalked, oxidized aluminum cleaned, prepped, and refinished, with stainless hardware and fresh screen done in the same project. The cage you have, looking like the cage you bought.
Full or partial mesh replacement on aluminum pool enclosures. Walls, roof panels, or the whole cage, with new spline throughout and mesh matched to how the cage faces.
Fresh mesh and spline for under-truss lanais, screened porches, and patio rooms, with door panels and kick plates renewed at the same visit.
Every screw connection in the cage renewed with marine-grade stainless steel. The least visible part of a renovation and the one that matters most when the wind comes back.
Single panels and small sets: torn mesh, blown spline, sagging sections. Mesh matched to the existing weave and color so the repair disappears.
Doors that drag, slam, or will not latch. New mesh, hinges, closers, latches, and kick plates, or a new door hung square when the old one is past adjusting.
A before-June walk-around: cable tension and anchors, fastener condition, spline and mesh, door hardware, with a written punch list you can schedule from.
