Waterford cages sit on fairway edges and pond banks, and that open setting is the whole story of how they age. Sun reaches the frame from morning to evening, wind crosses the course without a tree line to slow it, and irrigation spray reaches the lower panels on the course side. Mesh on the open wall goes brittle before the sheltered walls do, and chalk on the frame follows the same pattern.
Venice Lanai Screens connects homeowners in Waterford with a local screen contractor who walks the course side of the cage first. A pre-season cage inspection before June 1 checks every spline and screw head while the weather is quiet. Rust at the connections says the fasteners were zinc-coated and have been meeting salt air on an open site; stainless fastener replacement renews them with 316 stainless. Mesh that has aged out across the enclosure is a pool cage rescreening question, and the in-person visit sets the scope. Homes along the Waterford Golf Club get the same open-exposure look-over.

The makeover: chalked, oxidized aluminum cleaned, prepped, and refinished, with stainless hardware and fresh screen done in the same project. The cage you have, looking like the cage you bought.
Full or partial mesh replacement on aluminum pool enclosures. Walls, roof panels, or the whole cage, with new spline throughout and mesh matched to how the cage faces.
Fresh mesh and spline for under-truss lanais, screened porches, and patio rooms, with door panels and kick plates renewed at the same visit.
Every screw connection in the cage renewed with marine-grade stainless steel. The least visible part of a renovation and the one that matters most when the wind comes back.
Single panels and small sets: torn mesh, blown spline, sagging sections. Mesh matched to the existing weave and color so the repair disappears.
Doors that drag, slam, or will not latch. New mesh, hinges, closers, latches, and kick plates, or a new door hung square when the old one is past adjusting.
A before-June walk-around: cable tension and anchors, fastener condition, spline and mesh, door hardware, with a written punch list you can schedule from.
